Hey, Maria here,
Hope your doing great today, I hope you are achieving your goals and living your dreams. But we both know that “Hope” is not a great success strategy. Action is a much better strategy, so today I am going to help you transform your game, lead you to success and show you how you can have even more fun playing hockey.
Let me start by telling you a story about how very small changes can have a huge impact – like a ‘domino effect’. You see too many of you think that becoming the go-to goalie in your league is complicated (probably because people are over complicating things).
In fact it is extremely simple, that’s what my client Myles discovered over the last while.
You see Myles, was just like many of you. At an early age he was cut year after year from the AAA team, then the AA team and he wound up playing house league hockey…and that is where he stayed, until I met him when he was in 10th grade.
It wasn’t his fault, he was a little slower to develop than some of the other kids and he trusted the coaches’ judgement – he was a house league goalie.
Myles loved hockey and loved being a goalie, he kept his team in the game season after season, it was great fun playing with his friends and his game developed over time.
He wanted more; he wanted to play in the competitive league, he wanted more challenge and frankly, he wanted to wear the jacket of the top team in the region through the halls at high school.
After repeatedly being cut, even he was starting to believe what he had been taught year after year – he was a house league caliber goalie.
That is when we met. I actually had a chance encounter with his Dad and that is when the transformation started.
When I met Myles I noticed that he was carrying a few extra pounds – he later told me that is why he started as a goalie when he was younger, he always carried a little extra ‘baby fat’.
When we started working together I saw that he had good body awareness and movement skills but he was lacking some of the mobility that would let him get into a perfect position to make the save. He was leaving a few little holes that AAA shooters would capitalize on.
What he didn’t know was that those sessions did nothing at all to improve his speed or lateral movements – you can run stairs all day, it won’t make you faster.
He was also never given the simple, but specific, stretching techniques that would add 3 more inches to his butterfly flare in less than two weeks. It wasn’t his fault. It wasn’t even the trainers fault, neither one of them knew any better.
So what did we do? We got his basic nutrition on track (dropped 11lbs of fat) and added in some high intensity interval training that developed his speed and agility, while giving him the stamina to play strong through the third period and into overtime if necessary.
We worked on a strategic, proven system that would improve his goalie specific mobility to seal up those gaps between his pads and the ice and we made his core stronger so he could stay tall and dominant in the net while moving in any direction.
Well, the first few months, his save percentage steadily crept up. He stood on his head at the last two tournaments of the season and was even named best goalie at one of them.
His team did not win either tournament, which frustrated Myles, but he was pleased with his performance.
At spring tryouts he made the step right up to the AA team and he was getting invited to some of the AAA practices throughout the season. He was already half way through high school and had thought he was destine to be a house league goalie for his entire career.
Fast forward to this season, he is still in the running for a spot on the AAA team (down to 4 goalies) and has been invited to Junior B camps. He is now getting some attention from US colleges.
Like a lot of families, Myles’ family did not have a lot of extra cash at the end of the month, especially with new goalie pads, tournament fees and goalie coaching on the bill.
So I created this online program so he (and you) could still have the advantage of using my tried and tested goalie specific training from the comfort of your own home or local gym without money holding you back.
Here’s what you will get as a member of the Goalie Workout Club
It is pretty simple actually. You will enroll for a small investment – less than 1/10 of a private training session with me at the Revolution Studio and you will automatically get access to a new Workout Of The Month. You will continue to have access to workouts you have used in the past and future workouts for as long as you are a member.
Unlike a most fitness clubs, you can cancel your membership at anytime with no questions asked, no need for a note from your doctor, no administration fee – - just walk away. You will even retain access to the programs that you have paid for.
Have you ever felt nervous before a game? Have you ever secretly wished the other goalie was getting the start?
That nervous feeling is the fear of failure. The fear of failure comes from knowing that you did not do what was within your ability to prepare.
You see, when you prepare to the best of your ability, then you do not have that fear of failure because you know you have done what you can do and regardless of what the scoreboard says at the end of 60-minutes, you know you have done your best and so do your teammates.
When I say there is no guess work, I mean it, these methods have been proven time and time again. In fact a study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research revealed that these same methods of progressive overload or periodization are also used by NHL Strength & Conditioning Coaches.
Results reveal that 21 of 23 (91.3%) of NHL S&C coaches follow a periodization model (PM). Of the coaches who follow a PM, 21 of 21 (100%) indicated that their athletes used Olympic-style lifts, and 21 of 21 coaches (100%) trained athletes with plyometric exercises.

These are the same training principles you will find each month in your new Goalie Workout Club program – building up to the more advanced stuff over time of course. You aren’t in the NHL (yet) so I am not going to take you from Joe to Pro in the first month.
There are legitimate reasons for not making it to the NHL…
But there are no legitimate reasons for not being the best you can be. If you have ever let one of these ‘reasons’ slip out of your mouth, then you can keep doing what you have always done AND keep making the same EXCUSES (that no one believes by the way) OR you can give this proven program a risk free trial and see just how much better you can be…
ANSWER: This program is entirely downloadable, so nothing will be sent to you in the mail. I don’t even own a hard copy of the program. But don’t worry, you don’t need to have a computer science degree to access your training program. The workouts are in PDF format, so if you know how to click on a file and save it, you will be fine. The videos are in MP4 format, so if you can watch YouTube videos on your computer, then you should be fine.
ANSWER: Well, this depends entirely on you and your commitment to the program. If you consistently follow the program as it is outlined (without skipping the exercises you don’t like) then you should start noticing improvements on the ice in the first two weeks. For example, typically goalies will improve their butterfly flare about 3-inches in the first 14-days.
ANSWER: I created the program so you could do it at home or at the gym. If you want to train at home you will need a few pairs of dumbbells, a couple different resistance bands and a stability ball would be helpful. If you have a medicine ball, that is great, but you do not need to have one.
ANSWER: No problem, I know not everyone will be able to do the program, sometimes you think you are ready to chase after your dreams, but in reality it is just not a priority for you. This is why I use a company called Clickbank.com to sell my training systems. The have handled over a BILLION (with a ‘B’) dollars in transactions. So if you ever decide you wish to unsubscribe, just contact Clickbank.com (the exact link is on the receipt that they will send you immediately after your purchase – KEEP IT) and they will take care of it.
